Our company
Sea to Sky Transfer has been servicing the needs of southern British Columbia for over 20 years!
Established in 1998, Sea to Sky Transfer was built out of a passion for restoring old equipment which included fabricating, welding, and painting. Ron had purchased his first crane truck and immediately began rebuilding it. Within no time at all, he went to work and started developing relationships with clients he would have for years to come.

For several generations, Ron's family, who had immigrated from South America, have been machine operators in logging, mining, and heavy civil operations, both in South America and North America. Ron's father retired as an operating engineer.

Over the next decade and countless amounts of referrals and repeat customers, the business then acquired more crane trucks, many of which he designed, built or modified. From there, he saw the business rapidly grow.

One of Ron’s favorite aspects of this Industry is being able to thrive as an independent thinker and problem solver. The crane industry is constantly changing. Accordingly, there is nothing routine about this line of work. However, the most important part of running this business, is the relationships he develops with new clients and strives to maintain with existing clients. He is genuinely interested in connecting with clients so he can properly assess their needs, exceed their expectations and perform the service to the best of his abilities. This is also a trait he instills in his staff and well his operators.

Ron and his team of staff and operators believe in maintaining their quality of work no matter what challenges they may come across. Sandy joined the Business in 2008 and developed the office and administration to a very high level of excellence and accountability. Ron’s son Russ joined in 2011, and is now following his father’s footsteps as well as blazing some new trails. Stay tuned for the results!
